About the Kate Hasting Band:

With a sound competitive in today's country market while still reminiscent of each member's Midwest farm upbringing, the Kate Hasting Band - comprised of lead vocalist Kate Hasting, lead vocalist and guitarist Josh Beale and drummer Cam Smith – offers Nashville a "traditional meets pop country" sound that few acts have mastered.

In 2013, the band released Country Music, an EP recorded with Grammy-winning Nashville producer Chad Carlson and co-produced by Rob McNelley. The release of the EP lead to Kate Hasting Band opening for national touring acts Kellie Pickler, Craig Morgan, Randy Houser, Parmalee, Colt Ford, Joe Diffie, Larry Gatlin, Sunny Ledfurd and more. In addition to an impressive tour schedule, the band has been tapped to sing the National Anthem for Vanderbilt University, performed on The Billy Block Show, was highlighted as Artist of the Month by SESAC, named to NSAI's "One to Watch" list, were chosen to play the music of Taylor Swift and Johnny Cash for the Madame Tussauds Nashville unveiling event, and are included among the Country Music Association's Emerging Artists during this year's CMA Music Festival.

Kate Hasting Band will release a new EP this summer they wrote and co-produced with Tyler Smyth (Danger Kids). in Los Angeles. It will feature Behind the Bleachers, whose video aired on GAC, the Country Network, and Heartland. The video earned producer, Nishan Gilment, a regional Emmy nomination.
